Terms of Service
Effective Date: March 28, 2026
- Introduction Welcome to RoboRen (“the Bot”), a Discord bot provided by BrickCult.com (“we”, “us”, or “our”). By inviting or using RoboRen in your Discord server, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Bot.
- Description of Service RoboRen looks up LEGO® set information and scans parts using a scan feature. The scan feature sends the uploaded photo to the Brickognize API to identify LEGO parts, sets or minifigures.
Important: When you use the scan feature, the photo is processed by Brickognize. By using this feature, you automatically agree to Brickognize’s Terms of Service and Privacy Policy (available at https://brickognize.com/terms-of-service). We strongly recommend that you read Brickognize’s terms before using the scan feature.
It also provides temporary polling features where it saves Discord user IDs solely to prevent double voting. Polls are always temporary and the associated data is deleted periodically.
- Eligibility You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country) to use the Bot, in accordance with Discord’s Terms of Service.
- Acceptable Use You agree not to:
- Use the Bot for any illegal, harmful, or abusive purposes.
- Attempt to spam, overload, or interfere with the Bot’s operation.
- Reverse engineer, modify, or create derivative works of the Bot.
- Use the Bot in a way that violates Discord’s Terms of Service or Community Guidelines.
When using the scan feature, you must also comply with Brickognize’s Terms of Service, including their rules on uploaded content.
We reserve the right to block or remove the Bot from any server, or blacklist any user, at our sole discretion if we believe these terms are violated.
- Intellectual Property and Disclaimers This Bot and its content are for informational and entertainment purposes only. We strive to provide accurate information but make no guarantees about completeness, reliability, or accuracy.
For scans performed via the Brickognize API, the accuracy, availability and processing of images are subject to Brickognize’s service and disclaimers.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, BrickCult.com and its owners/operators disclaim all liability for any damages arising from your use of the Bot, including any issues arising from the use of the Brickognize API or the processing of photos by Brickognize.

Privacy Policy
Effective Date: March 28, 2026
- Introduction This Privacy Policy explains how BrickCult.com (“we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use RoboRen (“the Bot”), our Discord bot.
By using the Bot, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. When you use the scan feature, photos are sent to the Brickognize API. By using this feature you also agree to Brickognize’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
We are committed to protecting your privacy and only collect the minimum data necessary.
- Information We Collect We collect and temporarily store only the following:
- Discord User IDs (for vote counting in polls, to prevent double voting).
For the scan feature:
When you use the scan feature, the photo you upload is sent directly to the Brickognize API for processing. We do not store these photos on our servers. Brickognize may process and store the uploaded image in accordance with their own Terms of Service and Privacy Policy (see https://brickognize.com/terms-of-service).
We do not collect, store, or log:
- Message content (except the photo temporarily for the scan request)
- Usernames (beyond what Discord temporarily provides during interactions)
- Any other personal data
- Server IDs or channel IDs for long-term storage
No other data is saved by us.
- How We Use the Information User IDs are used exclusively to prevent double voting in temporary polls.
Photos sent via the scan feature are used solely to request identification from the Brickognize API and are not stored or used by us for any other purpose.
- Data Retention Vote data is kept only for the duration of the active poll and is deleted periodically.
Scan photos are not retained by us after the request is sent to Brickognize.
- Sharing of Information We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties, except:
- As required by law
- With trusted service providers who help operate the Bot (under strict confidentiality)
The scan feature necessarily shares the uploaded photo with Brickognize as a third-party service provider. This sharing is limited to what is required for the scan to function.
- Your Rights You may request deletion of any data we hold about you by contacting us. Because we store almost nothing, deletion is usually immediate once the poll ends.
For data processed by Brickognize (such as uploaded photos), you must contact Brickognize directly to exercise your rights under their policy.
7. Security We take reasonable measures to protect the limited data we handle. However, no system is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee the security of data once it is sent to Brickognize.
8. Children’s Privacy The Bot is not directed at children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected data from a child under 13, please contact us immediately so we can delete it.
9. Changes to This Privacy Policy We may update this Privacy Policy occasionally. We will post the new version with an updated effective date.
